Adopting a new LMS can be a major undertaking for an institution. The Moodle™ rooms TRAIN packages provide the resources organizations need to build a self-sustaining Moodle™ rooms training program at their organization.

The TRAIN packages include a variety of materials that an organization’s master instructional team may use to train their learning constituents. TRAIN materials are kept up-to-date through bi-annual releases. The TRAIN package is designed to support an organization’s master training team, IT support staff, and faculty through every phase of implementation.

Package overview:

TRAIN Select

TRAIN Select is a comprehensive professional development package that provides organizations with the resources needed for a self-sustaining training program centered on the effective implementation of Moodle™ ™ and Moodle™ rooms . We will create a new version of the package bi-annually to keep you informed of updates made to Moodle™ ™ and Moodle™ rooms . Although created and maintained by Moodle™ rooms , the TRAIN Select package is facilitated by you. TRAIN Select offers you the freedom to rebrand and modify the material within the course shells to fit your needs.

Package highlights:

• 6 Moodle™ rooms online training courses
• 22 workshops
• 5 interactive games
• 3 self-paced tutorials
• 5 demo courses
• Organizational Moodle™ /Joule community of practice
• Help and how-to handouts
• 3 a la carte add-ons available (for an additional fee)
• Available in English only
• Hosted, facilitated, and administered by client
• Requires three-year minimum contract

TRAIN Lite

TRAIN Lite provides a slimmed down version of the TRAIN Select package. Moodle™ rooms will install, host, and create a new version of the package bi-annually to keep you informed of updates made to Moodle™ ™ and Moodle™ rooms . As a hosted offering, TRAIN Lite minimizes administrative costs and eliminates the use of space on your Moodle™ ™ instance. However, the TRAIN Lite package is still facilitated by you. As with our more comprehensive TRAIN Packages, TRAIN Lite offers you the freedom to rebrand and modify the material within the course shells to fit your needs.

• 1 workshop
• 3 self-paced tutorials

• Organizational Moodle™ /Moodle™ rooms community of practice

TRAIN Plus

Moodle™ rooms offers Plus options, which allows you to add specific à la carte training materials to either your TRAIN Select or TRAIN Lite package.

À la carte options:

• Moodle™ /Moodle™ rooms Course Building for Advanced Users
• Mastering the Moodle™ /Moodle™ rooms Gradebook
• Introduction to Moodle™ ™ for Students (hosted on client instance regardless of package)

Package highlights:

• Available in English only
• Maintained by Moodle™ rooms
• Facilitated and administered by the client
• Hosting, with the exception of Introduction to Moodle™ ™ for Students, matches package delivery method

How the package works:

TRAIN is designed to skip the step of a team having to create their own training resources, as well as to provide insurance for attrition in client master training teams. TRAIN aims to get clients from 0 to 100 on their own. The materials provided in TRAIN can be re-branded and modified, but they may not be distributed beyond the scope of the contract agreement, nor may they be re-sold.
